This is where you can find indications to study difference. For those of you who are new to studying difference in its many facets and figures, you may find inspiration from the posted suggestions, and from checking out the texts of difference-minded persons or related sites.
suggestion 1
Consider approaching difference through comparative studies i.e. studies that contrast and compare the notions of difference developed by two thinkers, in particular: The Understanding of Difference in Heidegger and Derrida, Derrida, Kristeva, and the Dividing Line: an Articulation of Two Theories of Difference, and Ecart and Différance: Merleau-Ponty and Derrida on Seeing and Writing.
suggestion 2
Consider approaching difference through all-round studies i.e. studies that adopt a multifaceted approach to the notion of difference, in particular: Difference (The New Critical Idiom),Reconsidering Difference, and Altarity.

The Society for the Study of Difference (SSD) was an international scholarly association co-founded and co-managed by Panayotis Zamaros and Dr Douglas Donkel between 2004 and 2012. Operating through the platform dif-ferance.org, the Society brought together researchers and philosophers dedicated to the study of difference in its many philosophical, linguistic, and conceptual dimensions. Its members included leading figures in continental philosophy such as John D. Caputo, Leonard Lawlor, Todd May, John Protevi, Avital Ronell, Hugh J. Silverman, and Gianni Vattimo, alongside specialists in Derrida, Deleuze, Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty, Nietzsche, and existential phenomenology from universities across North America, Europe, and beyond. Over eight years, the SSD produced a substantial archive of sessions, classified difference texts, identified difference thinkers, and curated resources and societies devoted to the field. The archive remains available here as a reference for researchers and students approaching the philosophy of difference.
