Professor Panayotis Zamaros, PhD, is an experienced administrator, consultant, and former Managing Director and founder of a hotel school. He has been professionally involved for more than 25 years in the business and management of educational organizations, with a focus on strategic management, faculty management and development, recruitment, fair participation, marketing, advertising, and events management.


His contribution has focused on educational quality assurance, including ISO certifications (9001, 29990), validations with British universities (University of Essex) and organizations (IMCA), and accreditations with CECI, ACBSP (qualified evaluator), IACBE, EduQua, ATHEA, and AAQ.


He is currently Academic Counsellor at IFM Business School, Geneva responsible for quality assurance and accreditation management, faculty coordination, academic affairs, student and career counselling, Microsoft Teams administration, and library management.


Professor Zamaros is an experienced educator with over 47 years of teaching - having started in 1978. For the past 30 years, he has taught business and hotel administration at bachelor’s and master’s levels in Swiss higher education institutions in the Lake Geneva region. His academic affiliations include IFM University (Geneva), Pepperdine University (Lausanne campus), Montreux School of Business, Schiller International University (Leysin), and hotel schools such as SHMS (Caux), Vatel (Martigny), and IHBA (Lausanne).


Keen researcher and thinker, he has supervised master’s and doctoral research at SZABIST (Pakistan), AGSB (Switzerland), and ECMU (Belgium), and regularly serves as an external examiner for doctoral work in management and economics at several universities in Pakistan, including SZABIST, Abasyn University, Capital University, Qurtuba University, and Riphah International University.


Professor Zamaros holds a Ph.D. from Fairfax University (2004), with a dissertation on organizational behavior, management, and multidisciplinary philosophy. He also completed M.Phil. research at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (2013) in existential philosophy, focusing on the question of “being” from Parmenides to Heidegger. He holds an M.A. in Education (1999), of equivalent level to the Swiss Federal Trainer Diploma, and a B.Sc. (Hons 2.1) in Social Sciences (1997), both from The Open University.


After his first publications in the 1990s, Professor Zamaros continued putting major texts together that culminated in Demythifying Management among Others (2003), From Apousia to Apousia: Difference (2007), Organizational Behavioral Studies: The Relational Approach (2011), The Faces of Parmenidis (2011), Myths as Logical Descriptions of Experience (2012), Organizational Behavior Studies: A Course & Toolkit (2016), Swiss Buisness and Contract Law (2017), Swiss Conttract and Buisness Law (2018), Droit suisse des contrats et des affaires (2019). He is thus Patron of International Journal of Organizational Behavior & Management Perspectives-Pezzotaite Journals, and Member of the Atiner editorial board.


In parallel, Professor Zamaros has been active in the music industry for over twenty years. He founded and managed Studio Twenty (Vevey) for 24 years, and later developed Zamaros Musique (Belmont), which included the Belmont Rock School & Conservatory (active until 2022) and the Music Groove instrument shop (active until 2023). His experience in business development, combined with extensive legal practice—often provided on a pro bono basis—has informed his teaching and advisory work in law for over 30 years.



An entrepreneur and organizer, he has contributed to the founding of several educational institutions, including IHBA, MSB, and GHBTI, as well as multiple business ventures, notably Zamaros Musique.
